The University of Wyoming and Coastal Carolina University are pleased to announce a home-and-home football series scheduled to begin in the 2025 season. The series will kick off with the first game at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina, on September 6, 2025, with the return game at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyoming, on September 12, 2026.

Both athletic directors expressed enthusiasm for this exciting matchup, which promises to bring competitive non-conference action to both fan bases.

"We are thrilled to finalize this agreement with Coastal Carolina," said Tom Burman, Athletic Director at the University of Wyoming. "Our program is always looking to challenge itself against strong opponents, and Coastal Carolina has established itself as a formidable team in recent years. We look forward to showcasing Cowboy football nationally and welcoming Coastal Carolina to Laramie in 2026."

Coastal Carolina Athletic Director Matt Hogue echoed these sentiments: "This series with Wyoming represents an excellent opportunity for our football program. Wyoming has a rich tradition, and competing against them will be a great test for our team. We are excited to host the Cowboys in Conway in 2025 and experience the unique atmosphere in Laramie the following year."

This series marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs and highlights the continued commitment of both schools to providing their student-athletes with high-caliber competition. Fans from both teams can expect thrilling matchups that will further enhance the national profiles of both football programs.
