2024 College Football Dynasty League Rules Guide
I. Season Schedule and Advancement
The league will advance through two weeks of gameplay every real-world week.
Schedule advancements will occur on Thursday and Sunday mornings. The first advancement for the 2024 season is set for Thursday morning, July 25, 2024.
II. Gameplay Settings
Difficulty Level: All games will be played on the All-American difficulty setting.
Quarter Length: Each game will consist of quarters that are 6 minutes long.
III. Scheduling
Power 4 Requirement: Each team is required to schedule at least one game against a Power 4 (P4) team during the regular season.
FCS Scheduling: Teams are allowed to schedule one FCS team per season.
User Coordination: For games where users play against each other, both players must coordinate and agree on a specific time to play their game.
IV. Game Integrity
No Restarts: Each game can only be played once. Restarting games is not permitted.
No Super-Simming: Players are not allowed to use the 'Super Sim' feature during games to skip ahead. All games must be played in real-time to maintain the integrity of the competition.
Simulation: If a game is not played by the scheduled advance time, it will be automatically simulated.
V. General Conduct
Fair Play: Players are expected to maintain a fair and competitive environment. Any form of cheating or exploitation of game mechanics is strictly prohibited.
Communication: Players should communicate actively and respectfully with one another, especially when scheduling games against other users.
VI. Enforcement and Penalties
Rule Violations: Any violations of these rules may result in penalties, including but not limited to game forfeitures, suspension from league activities, or removal from the league, depending on the severity of the infraction.
VII. Amendments
These rules may be subject to amendments. All league members will be notified and given the opportunity to review changes before they are implemented.
